Submission Windows

Fedwire operates during Federal Reserve business hours. Transactions submitted outside these hours will be queued and processed at the next available opening.

The 6:30 PM ET cutoff is the last point for same-day settlement. Fedwire transactions are irrevocable once submitted to the network — voids must be requested before the transaction reaches the receiving bank.
